I would guess for the same reason non filter cigarettes cost more than the filtered kind. It costs more to make something that appeals to ~5% of the market.

Yup! They charge $3000 extra for the manual, and you can’t get even get the sunroof or any of the other
options on it

Because it comes with an LSD, sport exhaust, 19 inch wheels, summer tires, Brembo braking system with performance brake pads, hand brake, power tilt and telescopic steering wheel, power seat cushion extension, and a 15-speaker audio system for $3,000 over the base model which would be “ loaded” compared to the Kia Stinger. It's honestly a good deal, and the seats are still heated and ventilated!

Actually, that’s kind of a good deal. Not sure if it’s worth 3 grand, but not a bad package for a car person . Do you know anything about the 6mt? If it’s beefy I can see that 2.0t hitting 300-320hp with a simple piggyback tune

The manual adds on a bunch of driver-focused features including bumping up the steering wheel, driver seat , and audio system while adding an LSD, sport exhaust, and upgrading brakes, wheels, and tires compared to the base model.

I assume it’s running the Hyundai DYMOS M6LF1. I would have a look at the 2.0t Genesis Coupes and the N cars to get a sense of where the powertrain can go but it should be fine into the early 300 lb-ft of torque @ whatever range. Not sure if you can get far into the 300 hp range without breaking that torque level thou gh so I’m sure the ECU will cut/mitigate boost like the Stinger and so on.

They should end up in Albuquerque at Larry H. Miller Hyundai/Genesis . Now that the 2019 c onfigurator is up, 2019 Genesis models should start appearing in the next few weeks, I would assume.

That seems a bit expensive for the stripped down manual. For the same price you could get a Golf R.
